★★★★★“Rented 2 bikes for 3 hours (6:25PM to 9:25PM). Total cost was $60. At about 8:30PM, my wife called the hotline and tried asking if we could get some grace period as we estimated that we would be later than 9:25PM. The staff on the phone told my wife that we could get a 10 minutes grace period, but the “penalty” will start after the 10 minutes and it will be $12.50 for the next following 30 minutes. My wife and I rushed back thinking that we would only need to pay a maximum of $12.50 as long as we return by 10:05PM. (9:25PM + 10 minutes grace + 30 minutes penalty) We reached back the shop at 10:10PM. The staff immediately told us that we were late by 45 minutes and demanded that we pay $25 instead. We explained to the staff that we called earlier and how the conversation went over the phone, but he just dismissed us entirely. My wife and I have been regular patrons of this Bike Stop and it’s very disappointing that they are willing to go back on their words and argue with customers over this amount of money, especially with bike sharing companies competing over this market share. Will probably use Hello Bike instead from now on.”
★★★★★“Rentals and spares are very overpriced ($22 for a generic inner tube lol?) but the service is the real joke. I stopped by with a mechanical issue late at night, and the staff flat-out refused to lend me a simple Allen key. What kind of bike shop denies a fellow cyclist a 30-second quick fix that would have cost them nothing?! Save your wallet and sanity. You’ll be far better off with an Anywheel or HelloRide. They are far cheaper, and unlike the staff here, the apps don’t have an attitude problem.”
★★★★★“Went there on a Tuesday morning. We were served promptly by Tony. For a family bike that can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children, it costs $40 for an hour free for another hour on weekdays. The bicycle was easy to cycle by myself and 78 year old dad. Just that the seat backs were rather far back to lean against while pedalling. Do remember to ask the staff how you can lock the bike in case you need to stop halfway for breaks. The bike shop is just nearby the Lagoon Hawker Center so you can easily get some food or drinks for lunch or dinner there. Highly recommended!”
★★★★★“Rental Beware! Better ask, plan and decide properly before you rent from this shop. Before I made payment on the 4 wheeled for my child, I ask the cashier if I wanted to change bicycle with in short period becos we might get a bigger bike, the Cashier of course said can, but never tell you that the one you rent will be void and you take another will be consider new rental? while the other guy tell you, take the same timing top up? Best, cashier tell you their system cannot over ride or change? so which is which? Will I come back to rent from this shop again? This is my 2nd and last visit. I wish you luck in your business operation.”
